This prophecy was made by Mary Carroll Nelson "Toltec Prophecies of Don Miguel Ruiz (Jouvence editions). Premonition that describes the current time in terms of changes in this great body of the Earth is humanity. These changes are induced by a "new" Sun, ie by changes in the exchange energy - light - between Sun and Earth. Don Miguel Ruiz summarizes:

About climate change, the theory held by the IPCC raises human activity as the main factor is questioned by several scientists, see for example this article on the Sun's influence . In particular, some scientists argue that increased CO2 is a result of warming to the Sun ... and not vice versa.
A facet of this prophecy is that we will wake . Note that this notion of awakening is reflected in the traditions, whatever be their geographical origin. In this vein, Don Miguel Ruiz says:
What we must do is surrender, we surrender to what is happening. What happens happens because it must happen. Our task is to enjoy life more and to express what is within us, to create a new humanity ... We can share our happiness if we are happy. And we can share the love if we first love ourselves ... Our task during this life, is to remove the old dream.
